Ramadhan 2016
its already Ramadhan 8th.
It was a school holiday when Ramadhan started, so we are able to get together to welcome Ramadhan, bersahur berbuka & berterawikh with abg besar.
1st Ramadhan. Happy faces off to surau for 1st terawikh.
Akil is doing fine except for 1st Ramadhan he only managed to hold his fasting up to 6.30pm. Yeah, its very close.. but I just don't want to force him to hold any longer.. he's still my baby..
The rest is doing fine.

Today is their first day at school. I pray that they're doing fine. Either they can hold on to berpuasa till berbuka or not.. doesn't matter. At their age, what I want and wish to instill in them is how special is Ramadhan. Its not only the fasting that matter, its beyond that.
By the way, we managed to get a short break before school holiday started as Abg besar had early released from school quite early ..
They had a great time on beach for 3 solid days! We had a great time.. we will definitely come back.
School holiday also means revision time for the boys. This time its a bit late on planning and I am basically not satisfied on the quality of time we had on revision. Blame me on the planning weaknesses but will do it better during raya break.

Closing of Year 2015
it almost reaching to end.
to conclude 2015:
their development performance in summary,
Ammar doing well in his first year as boarding school student. Managed to take care of daily routine, play sports well and study performance is at okay level. He's catching up and closing his first year with achievement at 3.1 pointer with area to improve in science. Spiritual performance wise Ammar is now able perform imam with simple zikir & doa. Consistency on performing solat 5 times a day from my observation is still by rules (at school) or by reminder (at home).
Aqif is doing fine in taking care of his younger brother. I am quite impressive with his ability to coordinate his daily routine all by himself and at the same time taking care of Afiq's schedule. Study performance is in okay level. He closed year 2015 with 12th placing in class & in batch with area to improve in English. Spiritual performance Aqif is able to perform solat 5 times a day by himself (when I am not around at home) and by reminder. He's now in Iqra' 5 and I am targeting him to complete his Quran before he finishes his primary school.
Afiq is doing okay for his first year in formal school. Even though i always believed he is the smartest among all, he only able to close his first year in primary school with placing 23rd in class and 25th in his batch. Even the class placing is horrible, but it is still acceptable to me as almost all mistakes done in the exam mostly due to careless. Meaning area to improve is to train his thinking trail to be more focus. Spiritually, besides Doa Qunut, he's now able to perform solat with basic reciting / bacaan. Solah movements are another area to improve.
Akil in another hand is finishing his kindergarten year this year. Reading (English & bahasa) & mathematic foundation is there but it need some minor polish especially when he has the habit of mirror-writing (writing backward). Akil is now able to recite some of basic reciting for solat and more to polish especially on basic movement. He's now in Iqra 2 and will be continuing with kelas mengaji malam together with the rest of the siblings.

In general, all four of them need my detail attention in English & Solat.
In comparison with 2014 & 2015 where I gave more focus in Mathematic, I guess 2016 is a starting to me to also give focus on those 2 areas.
I need to strategize, as usual, timing is my challenge.
Their timetable is almost tight with morning school & English tuition/ mengaji in the afternoon and homework revision with me at night.
It seems that I only have weekend to do Mathematic, Solat & English.
I am also looking another area that the boy can explore - music.
Seeing that my normal Saturday first half of the day will contented by either cycling or wet market routine, I guest it is best time to send them to music class.

Time to work, but putting this post down in blog is my first step in planning the journey for year 2016.
Second step will be detail planning.

With that lets conclude 2015 with syukur & doa that 2016 will be more fulfilled with bright colours & diberkati olehNya.

talk & listen
too much talking is not good. when you talk, people do not only hearing but they also judging.
Don't talk when you don't think you contribute nothing to the conversation.
Its okey to keep quite sometimes. Listen & observed are necessary.
And always listen to what you says.
Don't talk bad thing about others. Its ALWAYS a good side of them. ALWAYS.
So, who are you to talk about bad side of people when you don't know they might have good side of them that you don't posses.
So kids, may you grow up being a good listener & always talk with purposes.
Don't talk when you don't think you contribute nothing to the conversation.
Its okey to keep quite sometimes. Listen & observed are necessary.

Ramadhan 2015 Snippet

I know I hardly blog recently.
No, its not because I am busy, Its because I am not busy.
That's me. When I have more time I am lost...When I got lots of work to do, I am more managed.
I just realized that I have not publish my puasa post yet.
As summary, here is their achievement:
Ammar - 29/29
Aqif - 29/29
Afiq - 25/29
Akil - 27/29
In general , I am proud of them.
And I also proud of me and hubby.
I can see this year Ramadhan we're more focus on the content of Ramadhan rather than kueh raya, baju raya & such, but still we celebrate Raya meriah as always!
Insya allah berjumpa lagi di Ramadhan yang akan datang insyaallah.

Anak-anak berpuasa dengan jayanya setakat ini. Alhamdulillah.
Seperti tahun2 yang sudah, tiada yang meragam untuk bersahur dan tiada yang merengek untuk berbuka. My rules is simple, tak tahan, sila berbuka.. tiada paksaan kecuali pada mereka yang sudah bersekolah kebangsaan.
Sama juga dengan terawikh, kalau letih & tak mahu pergi masjid.. have a rest at home. My rules is kalau pergi masjid mesti sembahyang.. kalau nak rehat atau main.. stay at home.
And as always, my kids are always been the obedience.. good boy!

Akil is staying strong, this year is his first year fasting completely. So far so good.
Paling merunsingkan time berbuka & bersahur makan sikit sangat.. I worried apa jer yang tinggal bila reach to end of Ramadhan.. skinny thane ever lah jawabnya.
Tapi tak pe.. I will make sure he will have his chocolate milk during sahur for the energy.

Afiq seperti yang diramalkan, sangatlah hebat.. dari mana energy dia dapat tak tau la..
Juadah berbuka setiap hari nasi kosong + tomyam sotong.
Suka ati lah nak.. nasib tomyam.. kalau rendang, jenuh mami ko nak merendang hari2...

Abg kecik paling dibanggakan. Langsung tak de ragam.
Fav Juadah berbuka adalah grilled lamb.. sudah 3 hari berturut2 nampaknya.

missing my eldest & the secret that i want you all to know..
its the longest period being apart of him.
I just missed him & I dreamt of him last night.
Night before he called me and told me he's fasting and he enjoyed it very much because a small special treat prepare by the dining hall for those who's are fasting.
Syukur.
Thanks God. He's learning and I hope the sweetness of doing sunnah & suruhan Allah swt will be in his blood forever. its a start.
Dear Kids,
Your old mummy have one secret in her heart for a long long time..
Mummy want to let you'll know that I always pray and wish in my solat and one of you (at least) will one day wakes me up in the middle of the night for tahajud.
That one of you (at least) will wake me up in early morning for subuh berjemaah.
That one of you (at least) will read Quran for me when Im no longer in this world.
That one of you (at least) will sedekah on my name when I am no longer in this world.
Because today..at the age of nearly 40 I am hoping for in my every solat....
and I am keep on waiting.
and praying hard.
May Allah listen.

Melentur buluh Dgn RM1
Sudah jadi kebiasaan setiap jumaat I ll give the boys 1 ringgit extra each.
Am trying to create the value of giving to the kids. That rm1 to be donated to the mosque during solat jumaat later.
I teach them to set their niat to sedekah for uwan n atok (my late parents).
Abg besar asked me..habis kitorang tak dapat pahala?
My answers to him...allah will pay u pahala of all the kindness, of coz u get it too..
And I remind them to also do the same when u grow up and have kids and both mummy and babah no longer here..
They seems agree.
I post it here boys so that u remember..and may bersedekah will embrace within u till next generation.

Second round of Red Eyes
mummy infected first, i think due to inproper handling of contact lense, biasa lah, monthly contact lense supposedly to be disposed every month, but kekadang poket bocor, postponed till other 2,3 months.. hik hik..
so, mummy recovered very fast, 2 days dah clear, then si kenit Akil, yesterday jumpa pakar, hari ni dah clear, that was after more than a week (8 days).
today abg besar pulak.
this is abg besar second round, he also had the same infection about 3 years back.
*sigh*
what to do, ujian untuk mummy..
let's see who's next.

Their School Holiday Journal
We started the holiday with heading north to Taiping..
We are at Kamunting new lake garden.
nice place for evening walk..
my big boy is very independent, next holiday boleh pegi bercuti jauh sikit..
visit to our nati*nal muse*m
the kids enjoyed the visit, and i couldn't believe i heard myself telling them who is what and when on the historical photos because history is the only subject that i hate in school, (*besides PJ)
At the lobby for jigsaw puzzle & s/e/r/a/k l/i/d/i
Later in the evening, we have a good stroll at Petaling Street for their shoes
The holiday doesnt not end yet.
I still have another 4 remaining days.
thinking for taking another 2 day this week.

Glorious RED Day!

Followed by abg kecik performance - nice one, i captured it thru video, i'll upload it in youtube when i got time eh.. (kalau got time lah..)
abg besar also participated in transit category, dia punya terlebih excited sebenarnya tunggu sports day abg kecik nih.
babah's part, seperti biasa bersungguh nak menang, tapi tak jugak di kira menang sebab cheating..
his happiest day ever!
their big day also means my big day. i wont miss any second of my babies big day. next time bangun awal babah yea babah, unless you never bother about it.

Afiq In School Shirt
He goes to the same kindi, but this year the kindi introduced their new shirt and compulsory for kids above 3 years (i guess)
the 'best' part is i have to make sure he bath at home every morning and goes to school handsome.
the worst part is more shirt & uniform to iron *sigh*
nevertheless, i'm so proud to see him with that yellow shirt & bag on his shoulder waving at me every morning, just like a big boy!

Kudos to Ammar & Akil!
Ammar had gone thru his circumcision yesterday. Alhamdulillah. Actually we dont really plan for it. Mummy applied for leave for a trip to Langk*wi, but been canceled on a very last minutes. The idea of having his circumcision came afterward when he keep on requesting it.
Alhamdulillah, the process went smoothly, according to Babah the doctor who handle the process is so calm that make him & Ammar clam too..
We already explain to Ammar that the process wont hurt much, it just the injection of anesthetic will hurt a bit, and afterword it just a numb feeling..
The process took around 15 minutes, but what worried me the most is he never sit still since yesterday evening.. main game lah, tengok tv la..
Hopefully the cut heals lots faster..
Second important date, today is AKIL Birthday! And he walk already! Kudo's to comey mummy!
Semoga kedua2 nyer membesar menjadi anak2 yg soleh! Amin

THE ALS BAND
We went to visit my brother last sunday, when suddenly the boys tried their cousins xbox band set.
They boys love it.

Cerita Mereka
Dah lama tak update on their progress.
Abang Kecik will have his first excursion this coming Saturday. Asik membilang hari, kasut baru pun dah beli.. to be extra caution, i am sending abang besar to come with him..
Lately nih abang kecik kemaruk makan.. asik nak makan ajer..
Abang Muda semakin hari semakin cheekey.. the best part on him dah pandai tidur sendiri.. malam pun tak pernah bangun meragam (unless tak sihat la..) n he love his little brother..
The youngest pun dah 4 bulan, was thinking to start on feeding him fine cereal..pagi2 bangun pukul 6.30 dok kat luar, tengok tv while i prepare myself to work.
The broken arm pun almost come to normal..cuma still can feel the bump inside it.. other than that, the movement sume okey as normal..alhamdulillah
