scabies

ammar had it two weeks ago and im so thankful to God that he's now fully recovered.

Its scared me to death when I googled around about the disease.

Some article said its can be prolong up to years.


To clear my worrieness, I met my fav skin specialist at Sub*ng J*ya, and his note make me breath normal again.

So for mom out there,

1. scabies can be treated with sca/bom/a (scabies lotion) - apply the whole body from neck to feet for 3 consecutive nights

2. Apply the same treatment to all the household excluding the pet for only 1 night

3. change + wash the bed sheet, towel  everyday

4. Isolate the infected

Insya allah they'll recovered in 1 or 2 weeks.

boarding school boy he is...

its already June.

So, we started with what is more important ..

Abg besar was now a budak hostel...

 

 

 

Technically, I am a proud mom, registering him to a better school than mine is a big achievement for me.  I believe I nature them, especially him on my bare two hands.  I see what are the output from bringing up the boys are sourced from actions, decision, doa from a mother.

 

Its honestly its not a big success for him yet, but more to a good start.

 

Enrolment of boarding school for me actually is not a ticket to be  successful person, but I see it as a platform where we can gain fundamental of being a successful people. Fundamental in term of discipline. Yup. Discipline in daily routine including solat, study & play.  Another fundamental that I wish to gain from the school is independent.

 

 

One important reason why Im sending him to the school was him to be 'ALERT'. I am actually not sure why, but I see Ammar as a kid who is not putting his feed on the ground.. he seems lost, he's not focus, he's can sleep the whole morning till noon, he has no obvious interest, he's aloof, he's not able to put in thought in a proper sentence and sometimes he just don't know what he want .. and I don't know what else I can do do AWAKE him, so I guest sending him to boarding him make 'awake' and eventually know what he wanted to do in his life.

 

What is lacking when you send your kids to 'typical' boarding school that I can observed from my surrounding is children are not bold in mixing with outside world.  They are not able (or maybe not dare enuf) to express their thought and fight for what they believe in.

 

 

Children from 'typical' boarding school are also seen passive and not willing to mix around with all level of community (real people, different races, different ages & different believes...)

 

They are mostly have a good brain but not a smart person.

 

Being said so, I m now thinking of a way to overcome the weaknesses and the same time to gain as much of the benefits of boarding school.

 

 

Some solution that I can explore for now are:

 

 

1. Encourage them involve in more sports rather than academic (as long as they can keep their CGPA at acceptance level)

 

2. Get to know their hobby & let them excel on that - at this point of time, I don't know what Ammar interest that I can polish... (bad me!). How I wish my boys can play an instrument on a concert!

 

3. School holiday program - more outdoor & dealing with the world

 

4. Simple but I guest workable action that I can do for now is to encourage my kids to be brave on expressing their thought - by doing more questioning rather than giving them instruction.

Fight like a man

We re at bolton for ammar sparring competition.

I am never fancy fighting, but I believed in the values the tought in any self defense dicipline.

They re tought to be brave to face the opponents. They re tought to be respect ful to their senior n master.

I really hope that my kids to grownup as a real man; brave, strong and able to stand up by their own two feet!

Syukur. Dah wajib solat pun.

alhamdulillah once in a while we bersolat berjemaah bersama, bila tiada babah, dialah imam kami.

starting from last week, whenever babah not around, ammar will be our imam for maghrib.

i feel so grateful and blessed.

Oh one more milestone to jot it here,

Al afiq are almost diapers free starting from last week. [he'll be coming 3 years old next week]

Doa di Pagi Jumaat

Sekejap aje dah 5 Ramadhan.

Abg Besar & Abang Kecik masih berpuasa dgn gagahnyer.

Abang Kecik dah la tak memberi masalah, siap boleh buat homework sebelum tiba waktu buka puasa.

Abg besar agak keletihan selepas berbuka, mungkin sebab tak sempat nak rest on day time, sekolah pagi & petang..so agak liat sikit nak buat homework, kumo* or revision sebelah malam.

I try to be flexible to him,kalau letih tidur, kalau tak letih buat revision, no play, no tv on nite time.

Terawikh wise, they only allowed to joint babah only on weekends

So far so good.

Semoga Allah merahmati anak2 saya dan dipelihara iman mereka hingga ke akhir hayat.

Anak2 Saya Yang Hebat

Another milestone to jot in here..

Alhamdulillah,

hari ni ammar dah naik ke Al Qur'an.

Abang Besar juga hebat.

1 Ramadhan 1432 Hijrah

ada 2 mende yg buat saya happy hari ni:

1. kemenangan ammar on his first sparring competition yesterday.
- i actually did not expect any victory from him, i allow him to participate because he wanted to, and i just can pray tat it did not break any of his bones.
- for me he's not the best yet, but what make me proud of him is his braveness to fight.


2. abg kecik first day bersahur hari ni.
- not sure sampai pukul berapa dia boleh tahan, i honestly hope dia buka tengahari.
- anak aku tu dah ler kurus keding buat nyer cukup puasa dia sebulan apa jer la yg tinggal.

we had so much fun coordinating charity even last saturday at mummy's office.

the team managed to get this giant ball that as expected received great response from the crowd.

and we WIN the top contributor category! wohooo!

and best of all, my kids enjoyed the day on their own while mummy busy entertaining the clients.




looking forward next year event!

Norizah menerima hamper dari Dato' No/or/iz/ah.. wah sungguh rhyme kan, i adore her alot...untuk pengetahuan sepupuku, di belakang itu ialah en b/i/n s/a/r/i/f yg selalu mengomen status fb saya hari2.. dia adalah boss yg sgt capable tapi sengal ..hehehe

next time, we'll try to get hot air balloon. yeha!

and teammate, make sure we follow the same formula and retain our victory , hahaha (*gelak evil*)

oh one more victory achieved last week was i've done my reading on li*beth salen*er- the gi*l who pla*ed with fire..

Friday Notes.

quick one.

yesterday evening i managed to grab the opportunity to joint the trim challenge participants.

pergh, mmg marbeles.

40 mins non stop jog + 100 sit up + 5 minits aeroplane poses.

balik rumah, pancit terus.

pagi ni mmg ringan giler badan babe.

IF i can go at least 2 times a week, confirm raya wa pakai kebaya sendat babe..hahaha

oh, the boys (besar and kecik ) will be having their trial session at K/U/M/O/N starting tonite for 2 weeks, before we permanently enroll them to the program.

i really hope this one work.

I'm not a superwomen

i wanted to be a perfect mom.

fun. brave. kind hearted. diciplin. a teacher to the kids. a super housekeeper. a great cook.

but i am just not.

after outsourcing the cook part,

now am looking an expert help to help the kids in their study.

it's really a frustrated moment, when u realised you just cannot make it.

but i can't take the kids future a granted.

they need an expert.

i am outsourcing the area that i expert with, i.e mathematics - once i realized not everybody can teach although you're expert on that area.

ammar's maths result shows it all.

it's really give me a big wake up call.

it's better now rather than too late.

hopefully the step i am taking is the right one.

oh, put aside the mellow part, life goes on, i am putting on weight last two month due to my eating habit.

am decided to fast 3 days a week, hitting gym 2 days aweek and an active weekend.

hopefully it works.

same like the ammar's case, i don't want it to be late. better now than too late.

step 1: let him be on his own
result: no good


step 2: follow all his homework day by day, page by page - done
result: homework done but no focus during classroom so result still not meet my expectation.

step 3: continue step 2 + kumon + tuisyen
result: wait till end of year exam

on top of step 3, i think i should also some supplement, something kind of chicken essence..
